    aiding disabled

Above the bottom left data block on one of my 4500's says "aiding disabled". What does this mean is there a way to make it go away? (using latest software, but was there prior to upgrade.) Thanks.

I just upgraded to 8.8.03 and yesterday started getting this same message.

    Anyone else?

Not sire what exactly causes it.

It is normal to get it when on the ground, you should not get it when flying.

Rob, what would make this happen in flight? Is it interference or a GPS reception issue that could possibly make the aiding disabled come on? Also, what is "aiding" exactly?

Hmm, think I'll delay installing the latest update until this is clarified.

It's been a couple days. Just checking in to see if there is a status update available.
