Newly installed 4500s and GTN-650. Did not do the install (I know my limitations). On the way home I plugged in my home airport in the GTN and got the magenta "HSI" needle on the primary EFIS. What I didn't see was any waypoint info below the compass rose. How do I get distance, ETE, etc. to show up there?
You don't have the EFIS or GTN650 configured correctly. Email us a picture of you EFIS admin settings page with the serial ports and the GTN650 serial port setup page.

what are folks doing to see buttons and knobs on the 3500/4500 at night since they are not lighted?
