Hello,

Can you confirm for me what "SPD" parameter is used to calculate the different fuel display modes when running off a GPS route (Litres required to EICM, Litres remaining at EICM, Litres per mile etc.). I would like to think they are calculated in real time based on fuel flow, fuel remaining and most importantly the Ground Speed being fed from the GPS. Is this correct?

If a GPS ground speed feed is not available what happens then?

I am finding the fuel gauges (mine are float) to be very dodgy (thats a technical term I learned way bacK), in fact the left float keeps getting stuck, but the fuel flow based reading has been spot on to a few tenths of a litre on every fill up. Superb to get that level of confidence in what the fuel flow instrument is telling you about total remaining endurance - my nerves would be shot if I only had the floats to rely on!
