Very helpful video. Does a tailwheel plane need to be in level flight attitude for this rotation procedure?
No, you do not need to lift the tail for a tailwheel plane.

It seems the alignment process for the 5600 is a bit different than what is shown on this video. It seems some of the steps shown in the video are now skipped and the instructions are to "taxi" in a circle (not turn.) Might you comment on the differences?
Thanks,
Dick
With the new AHRS it skips some of the steps.

With the ADAHRS 200/201, the manual states that the engine should be running. So is the procedure different than with the older units in which you turned the aircraft in a circle with the engine off? Is having the engine running critical to calibration?
