New software allows ap changes to be made on screen of 5400T. Had hoped to see manual update or a video on how to use most effectively. If that is not in the cards could you post an explanation. Thanks.

We are working on a tutorial for the new control schema.
A quick list would be
- AP - Autopilot On-Off
- FD - Flight Director On-Off
- HDG - Roll based on heading bug hold
- SRC - Change the source of the course
- TRK - Roll based on GPS track hold
- NAV - Roll based on Nav (Yellow armed, green coupled)
- ALT - Vertical based on altitude bug hold
- VNAV - Vertical based on Nav (Yellow armed, green coupled)
- VS - Vertical rate based on Vertical Speed
- IAS - Vertical rate based on Indicated Air Speed hold
- UP - Nose up control for vertical modes (Change VS or IAS)
- DN - Nose down control for vertical modes (Change VS or IAS)
- VFPL - Vertical based on displays flight plan
- YAW - Yaw servo control On-On
- 180 - Perform 180 on heading / track
- Level - Set roll and vertical to 0 roll and 0 vertical speed.
Thanks for the info. When you write the tutorial please remember that some of us are running version 12 on a non- touch AF-5600. Thanks.
