    Alert for Shock cooling

Does the AF3500EM deliver an alert when it detects the engine is being shock cooled like some EI instruments??

Noone has answered this one yet?

If this alert isn't activ. maybe it's a good idea for the next software update?

My opinion would be that we really don't need an alert in this area. There is is no proof regarding shock cooling effects, especially on the normally aspirated engines we fly. Lot's of wive's tales out there.

    I agree but....

.... even though there's no proof regarding shock cooling etc, the warning could be optional, just as all the other options in the system.

Then people who didn't want it, wouldn't have to.
