    AHRS off line

I was flying today and had a gps integrity warning then an AHRS off line and the red x s
I landed 10 minutes later shut down and restarted and the ahrs worked fine for my flight back home.
    What can cause this?
What should I do to troubleshoot?
Reluctant to go ifr until i'm confident this won 't happen again.

    Hi Alan-

What intruments went red, just attitude and heading? Scary, I've never had that happen! As I understand it, GPS is used to aid the AHRS and remove long term drift, so maybe after some number of seconds of lost GPS signal the AHRS gives a fault since the attitude and heading errors get larger with time if not aided by GPS. Just a guess, I'm sure Rob will chime in soon.
