    Rob,
went out and flew the same ils course. the 3400 showed the green glide slope indicator sitting at the bottom when the 4500 showed it at the top. after intercepting the glide slope and flying almost 2 miles the 3400 glide slope indicator popped up and agreed with the 4500 however the 3400 flight director was reading opposite of the 4500 flight director. Something is definitely not right with the 3400 .

We are at Sun n Fun and will have to look at it next week, we have not changed any software in the 3400 in over a year.

    Rob,
I will take another flight and take some pictures. I spoke with my avionics guy and he thinks the problem is in the 3400.
will talk to you next week.

    Alan,

We installed a non S CPU unit (V7.03.07 Software) in the right side of the RV-10 and flew some ILS approaches last night.
We were unable to duplicate what you are seeing in the pictures, it worked perfect coupled to the AF-5600 EFIS on the pilot side.

We would like you to try clearing the memory using the following procedure:
    1. Press CHECK > MAIN > ADMIN > CALIBRATION to enter the Calibration Menu.
    2. SELECT 1. ADMIN Settings
    3. SELECT 27. Set Clock NVRAM Defaults
    This should clear the memory

    rob,
will try. I assume you mean on the 3400.
very strange. the flight director was also reading erroneous (opposite).
    will let you know.
    thanks,

Any solution yet for my 3400 GS?
