I've been getting spikes in my oil pressure.
Occasionally the pressure will leap from 80psi in cruise to 130psi. This will last only a few seconds and then revert to normal.
I tried fitting a slave guage but the problem didn't appear with it fitted. I only flew for half an hour and then removed the slave guage so I know I'm going to have to re-fit it and try again but would like to know if anyone else has experienced this issue?

Check for a loose wire or bad connection. It also could be a bad transducer.

So, at last I finally eliminated my oil pressure spike problem by uninstalling the new transducer that came with my kit and re-installing the old one. Result!
