    standard rate of turn

    Rob,
I'm trying to figure out how in efis mode the AP turns a standard rate of turn. The formula that you use doesn't take into account TAS.
The bank angle will increase with TAS.

The EFIS only calculates it when using the heading bug and I think it is using TAS. When you are in NAV mode and following a Garmin Navigator (430W or GTN650) it is doing the calculation, the AP is getting the roll steering unmodified from the GPS Navigator.
