Rob - I have a Dual AFS 5600 setup. I have a Scandia 165R remote transponder attached to EFIS #2 (co-pilot) on Serial #2. The transponder squawk code will display on both EFIS #1 (pilot) and #2 (co-pilot). I show the XPDR menu option on both EFIS #1 and #2 but I am only able to control the remote transponder from EFIS #2. Pressing the (SET/XPDR) menu option from EFIS #1 does nothing. Is this a limitation or do I need to configure something differently?

Did you configure the Transponder menu on both screens for the Sandia?

Yes, both set for Sandia and enabled

Just realized I have another problem Rob... Although the EFIS display appears to show the unit responding to commands, turning off, on etc, it cannot be. The VPX shows it drawing 0.0 amps.
You need to call us from the plane to test a few things.
