    Arinc problems

    Recently installed AFS autopilot.

AP works great, smooth ,accurate no problems.

Efis button does nothing. About page in EFIS . ARINC : na.

Removed cover from ARINC unit . Green led is not lit , Pin 1 has 12volts . Pin3 has ground.

All indications suggest ARINC adapter is u/s.

    Regards

Are you sure it is really pin 1 and 3 and you are not looking at it backwards? We have people do this all the time...

Rob thanks for the quick response.

Looking at the ARINC unit 25 pin connector, with the label up, pin1 is top left?

    Yes,

Did you check the fuse inside the ARINC box? Pull the fuse and check for power on the fuse socket and check the fuse.
