uploading multiple files on sd card at one time

Can I put both maps, sound files and latest software on one sd card (4500s).

Refreshing all at one time or does each category need to be loaded separately.

    Thanks,
    Tom Hanaway

The maps stay on the SD card that is in the unit all the time. If you leave the install software on the map SD card it will reload the software every time you power up the unit.

    WARNING!!!!
If your screen takes longer than about 30 seconds to boot up and run you most likely have the install software still on the card.

I am confused. When I load the map data into my 5000 I remove the card afterward. I also have to specifically specify I want to update the software. If you mean the sectionals and enroutes I was under the impression that going behind the panel and removing the old memory card and installing a new one was the only way to update those maps.

The above comments were not for the AF-5000 units. The AF-5000 systems have the map data stored in internal memory and don't automatically load the new software.
