    Fuel Pressure Sensor Location

I have two questions regarding the fuel pressure sensor for my RV10 application.

    1) I installed the Vans fuel flow transducer in the tunnel well before I made the deciuson to use the AFS EFIS/engine monitor system. Will the Vans sensor work compatibly with the AFS 4500 engine monitor?

    2) if the AFS transducer is used, what is the best location for it?

    Thanks, Steve

Yes the Flow Scan in the tunnel will work, you might see increased fuel flow when the boost pump is turned on.

The best place and where certified planes have them is in the fuel line between the fuel servo and the distribution block on the top of the engine.
