Thread: RPM slow to show

    RPM slow to show

After 250 hours of no issues my RPM indicator showed 0 on startup and took about 2-3 minutes of showing some rpm (not correct) to reading what appeared to be a correct rpm. I checked the sensor and all appears to be connected correctly and the sensor is snug in its fitting. Is this a sensor failing or should I look in another area?
    Thanks,

Sounds like a bad connection or a bad sensor.

Thanks Rob. I'm heading back to the airport in the AM and will check connections again but if the other option is a bad sensor I'll probably be ordering one tomorrow as connections all looked ok yesterday.
    Thanks,
    Don
