Copying engine files between 2 units

I have a 3400 EE and a 4500EF. If I make parameter changes on the EE unit (red lines, etc.), how are they copied to the second unit? I see a 'Copy' button on the Admin pages but don't know if this is what does it, and if so, how to actually copy from one unit to the other. Thanks

Never mind. I figured it out.....

How do you do it Jim? The easiest way I found was to download to an SD card on the source box and then upload from that card on the target. Is your way any easier?

Nope, that's exactly what I did. Still don't know what the 'Copy' button is for though.

    jim,

anytime there's a "copy" button, it's normally not in the sense that one would expect (like copying files and such). it works more like "paste", taking current values from a sensor or such (fuel sensors e.g.) and pasting them in the active edit field (e.g. when calibrating the fuel tanks).

"copy" in the sense of saving a file to the sd-card works via the "backup" function in the sdcard menu.
