    Magnetometer Wire Length and Location

In my RV-10 I have the 2awg from rear bat running up the left side of the plane. The EFIS harness included with the 4500 has magnetometer wires that are long enough if you run them back the left side, but not long enough if you cross under the panel and run them down the right side of the plane.

I was going to run them down the right side of the plane to avoid running them next to the 2awg which is on the left side. Are magnetometer wires fine to run next to the 2awg?

    Thanks!

Yes, that should be fine. It's the strobe light wires or p-leads you don't want to run next to.
