Just upgraded to v8 on a 4500. There is no setup page for VP-X, just an on/off, is this correct?

v8 has fixed a missing item on the Check VP-X page, thanks.

Yes, that is correct. We now get all settings from the VP-X.

Thanks Trevor. Since upgrading I have lost SV. Tried the AFSMAPEU_V15_TV.zip, and the old Map files. What files are required on the Map card for Europe?

Norman, do you have the new AF2 TER and VEC files? They are on our Webstore. Leave the same AFSMAPEU.AFM file on the card, just replace the other two.

No, you need the Jeppesen International Terrain and Vector files. If you go to the webstore, there is a link for Jeppesen international mapping.

AFSTEREU.AFM
AFSVECWW.AFM

None with AF2....

Can you be a bit more specific , maybe a list of files please would help.

There are no files starting AF2. I can download the AF

Same thing here - I am about to upgrade to the latest sw version and I live i Europe. In your link are the vector and terrain files - in format AF2VECEU.AFM and AF2TEREU.AFM.

But what about a: AF2MAPEU.AFM ??

I got the 4500 and 3500 from you some weeks ago shipped to Sweden and they are mounted and work fine. Do you know which sw version was installed and which ter, vec and map files where added?

We kept the international map file names AFS rather than AF2 because it would require Jeppesen to change their format, which we didn't want to do. The VEC and TER files must start with AF2 though.
