    Gretz Heated Pitot

Trevor, is AFS planning to incorporate a way of displaying the Gretz heated pitot status indicators on the EFIS systems? (The are three LED indicators that come with the Gretz - Pitot On, Pitot Heater On, and Pitot Temperature Low.)

    Thanks!

We hadn't considered it before and based on the circuitry required (no direct input capability) I doubt it would be feasible. But I will add it to our feature request list.

Check out this forum post on the Vertical Power forums. In particular Matt's posts. You may be able to adapt the info somehow.

I would also talk to Jake at Vertical Power. He developed a module that replaces the Gretz LED module. It's baiscally a logic invertor that could be used on any serial input to determine status. All the VP-200 is doing is basically just acting as annuciation for the control module.
