    Fuel flow indicator reading 0

On a recently flight the fuel flow indicator on my AF3500 dropped to 0, the fuel pressure indicated normal and the RPM was normal for the IAS. I landed asap and shut the engine down, after about 10 min I restated the engine and the fuel flow was back to normal, I flew a couple of circuits with no further change. Any idea what caused it to happen and how to prevent it happening again.

You may want to check the spade terminals on the fuel flow transducer and associated wiring in-between it and the unit. We've seen some that over time oxidize and provide intermittent connections.
