CT relay deck
Hi Gents,
I'm currently populating the AFS ACM and have reached the point of wiring in the trim motors for the Elevator and Aileron. The connector into the ACM can also accomodate the flap control but this will be achieved on a seperate independant switch on the mid console. The Ray Allen trim servos usually have a CT Relay deck wired into the harness but using the ACM, i'm a little unsure as to how this is incorporated if at all.
Has anyone come upon this wiring issue before. I would appreciate any useful information that would allow me to progress further with the ACM installation.

The SkyView SV-AP-PANEL autopilot control panel also contains the trim controller circuitry for our avionics, and eliminates the need for the Ray Allen Relay Decks. If by chance you are not installing an autopilot or are but are not using the SV-AP-PANEL then you will need to wire the relay decks to the ACM AP panel connector:

Ray Allen RP4 Indicators
Hi Jonathan - Perfect - that makes wiring so much simpler?.. not having to incorporate the relay decks.
On a similar thread, the LED indicators for the pitch and roll trim require incorporation into the wiring system.(RP4 Indicators). I?ve researched the plans and can only find the wiring that relates to the actual trim/Flap servo harness. Could you please point me in the right direction with this one ?

You cannot use the RP4 trim position LED indicators and simultaneously have trim position display on the EFIS. If you want to use the RP4 displays instead of the EFIS for trim display, then:
1) wire the two white and white or white and gray motor power wires from each of your servos to the ACM Flap and Trim harness as our schematics show
2) Do not wire the three white with orange, green, and blue stripe wires from the trim servos to the ACM Flap and Trim harness. Instead, run these three wires from each servo to the associated RP4 LED indicator pursuant to Ray Allen's documentation.
