Cycle 2413 map downloads for all afs screens
To all,
We missed getting cycle 2413 maps generated and tendered to our website admin before he caught a sleigh ride out of town. Generous quantities of egg-nog may have been involved; we admit nothing. Sorry either way!
Note that Seattle Avionics subscribers appear to also be affected, as I just downloaded the latest chart data on our Seattle account, and the aviation/obstacle cycle data there as well is still downloading as 2412. Note that this only applies to the aviation and obstacle data you download from Seattle, aka the "AFS MAP". This data can be downloaded through Seattle's Data Manager, but it is identical to the free map file hosted on our website. We create it, and we send to Seattle Avionics to forward to those of you who have ChartData subscriptions. Seattle Avionics creates their own sectionals, IFR charts, approach plates, and airport diagrams, and these are correctly downloading for the new cycle.
Anyway, everyone with AFS screens can use the below links to download the latest cycle 2413 map file relevant for your generation EFIS:
http://advanced-flight-systems.com/M...S_V16_2413.zip <- AF-3/4000s complete map (aviation/obstacle data, terrain file, basemap)
http://advanced-flight-systems.com/M...6_2413_MAP.zip <- AF-5000/AF-6600 (aviation/obstacle data only) SEATTLE AVIONICS SUBSCRIBERS DOWNLOAD FROM THIS LINK
http://advanced-flight-systems.com/M...S_V15_2413.zip <- AF-3000 NonS complete map (aviation/obstacle data, terrain file, basemap)
http://advanced-flight-systems.com/M...5_2413_MAP.zip <- AF-3000 NonS (aviation/obstacle data only)
If after clicking the link you don't see the file downloading, or don't see the file in your computer's downloads folder shortly thereafter, right click the link with your mouse or trackpad, and select "Save Link As" from the menu. Click the "Save" button in the bottom right corner of the dialog that pops up. Chrome will pop up the "Recent download history" bubble in the top right corner of your browser. In this bubble you will see the map file, but it will say "Insecure download blocked". Click on the "Keep" button directly adjacent to this, and your map will download.
We swear that we aren't infected with a virus! These map files are hosted on our company server, not on the AFS or Dynon websites, and the links are http, not https. Google Chrome has recently begun blocking downloads from non-https websites, hence why the download may not work just from clicking the link.
