    Contextual checklist pop-ups

This is a simple question with a probably-simple answer that I just can’t seem to pull out of the manual.

On my 5400, I routinely get checklists slide in to the right side of the screen at various points of operation (taxi, takeoff, approach) where the EFIS apparently thinks I might want them. I have my own routine and I find this annoying.

How do I turn this feature off?

The EFIS does not ever spontaneously display checklists, display of the checklist is always prompted by a physical press of the CHECK button. As for which checklist gets displayed by default when you press the CHECK button, yes this governed by logic.

At 0 RPM, the first page displayed will be the Before Starting Engine checklist
Between 1 and 1250 RPM you will first see the Before Takeoff checklist
Above 1250 RPM you will first see the Emergency checklist.

This behavior is by design and we do not provide a way to turn it off. The contents of the checklists themselves can always be edited if you would prefer to see something else in these contexts.
