Rookie question - Date and time

    Hi everyone,

I've bought a Vans RV-7 with dual AF-5000 screens, and trying to get to grips with thr system.

There are a LOT of flight logs (87!) that are dated 01/01/1970.

My flight today (April 10, 2022) was recorded as July 23, 2014.

I've seen the 'clock time zone offset', but can't find anywhere to set the date.

It occurred to me that there might be an internal battery that needs changing, but can't find any reference to one anywhere.

    Please help!

The AF-5000 series displays use the backup power on pin 6 of the EFIS Expansion Cable as a way to maintain the clock between power cycles. Most GPS will set the clock within 15minutes of signal acquisition.

You can verify the backup power is working by powering the unit up by pressing and holding Button 1 (left most bottom button) until the screen comes up (~10 sec).
