    EGT not indicating until I reach cruise

    This has happened two out of the last three flights. #1 cylinder EGT does not indicate any heat until,I reach cruise altitude. I know the engine is running properly since it is running smooth, CHT is right where it is normally, speeds are correct, fuel flow and pressure are normal, etc.
