    Approach Systems Hub

    Trevor,

I'm considering using the Approach Systems wiring hub with a dual screen 4500 panel. I have the Pro G hub in my current plane and it greatly simplified the wiring.

Do you know of others that have used the hub with dual screens? Are there any landmines I'm stepping on?

    Thanks,

    Darwin,
I used the same hub in my 7 when it was equipped with BMN stuff. I am currently installing a dual 4500 system in the 7and am using the hub again. Just be careful that Tim does not talk you into using 30 inch lengths on the screen connector cables. I tried that and there was not enough room. I am going to order new cables this week. Also ask Tim to use 4 conductor shielded cable for each magnatometer instead of two sets of two that he normally uses.. That will cut down on the amount of bulk you have to feed to the rear or wingtips. Don
