    uAvionix echo UAT

I'm considering replacing my AF-74112 with a uAvionix echo to get ADSB-Out. My system is AF-5500 + SV2020 + Trig TT21. Any red flags with his setup? What setting should I use on the serial port going to the Echo?
    Thx,
    -Dan

Should work fine. The echoUAT can feed into the EFIS using a serial port set to ADSB 115K or via Wi-Fi. See their manual for all the wiring options.

FYI, I contacted uAvionix support. They said that I can feed the SV-GPS-2020 serial data directly into the echoUAT via pin 6. The echo will send traffic and weather data to the EFIS from its pin 3. They did not recommend depending on the EFIS to communicate position data to the echo. As long as all the baud rates are set properly, this arrangement should work. The wiring diagrams in the echoUAT manual hint at this, but don't show it explicitly.
