folks using Skyview rave about how superior the audio (modulated beeps) aoa warning is compared to the voice warning or screen picture, which is hard to keep in your field of view on approach. Is there any way I can get aoa audio on my AFS 5500?

Any update on this? I've got Audio On for my AOA, but I've never heard *anything* -- not a voice, not a series of beeps. I miss the kazoo-like stall warning from my Skyhawk days when I'm trying to do a fully-stalled landing.

The beeping AOA was released in Vx16.06.15.

Reducing your Landing Warning Override should fix your issue. If you are using a pitot tube based AOA probe start with 2.0. If the alert doesn't stop after flare increase this number to quiet the alert earlier. If the system still doesn't alarm reduce this number further. If this doesn't fix it you may have a install or calibration issue. Give us a call and we can sort your issue out.

AOA Tones have been moved into V16 and are nearly finished in beta testing. I would expect it to release fairly soon.
