Relocate Sport AOA Display

I am installing a new 5600T and re-doing my panel --- I would like to move my sport AOA display (row of lights) from the glare shield to the panel --- is there a way to disconnect the ribbon wire from the display, (without cutting it and re-splicing) so I can re-thread it to my panel?

(Lots more questions to follow, as I get into the wiring!)

Remove the two screws and the connector will pull out of the display. Removing the connector from the bare cable is a bit more tricky. I would recommend cutting and replacing the connector at that point.
