    Serial port assignments

I have the following equipment from my order with a 5600, which totals 5 serial ports. What is the appropriate assignment? It seems from the discussion that port 0 isn't available.

    AFS GPS 73102
    IFD 540
    AFS ADSB (74112)
    PAC15
    Transponder (74109)

    Recommendations?

Your order has the SV-ADAHRS, so you have access to serial 0.

    Shawn,

Currently my 5500 serial ports are configured as:

    PFD

    0 - disabled
    1 - atvn/arnav
    2 - vpx
    3 - Vizion AP
    4 - arinc

    MFD

    0 - disabled
    1 - Navworx adsb
    2 - trfc/icarus
    3 - coguardian
    4 - AFS gps 250

I am getting ready to install the Dynon 261 transponder and the Dynon 472 adsb. Are there any limitations with what can be installed on port 0? Will port 0 work for the transponder?

    Thanks,

    Bob

No limitations, use PFD for the transponder and MFD for the ADS-B.
