    Secondary GPS Backup - AF-5600T

I just installed a 73120 SV-GPS-2020 and supporting software for ADS-B Out on a single AF-5600T, now I am left with a spare GPS (73102 AFS GPS Module).

My question is; Can I install the original Non-Certified GPS as a secondary backup GPS in case the SV-GPS-2020 goes south (encounters an error and stops working)? If so how?

Yes, that is just fine. The EFIS can handle three different GPS / NAV data sources. The only restriction is that the 73120 SV-GPS-2020 and 74109 Mode S ES Transponder are wired to the same EFIS.

In the installation manual, the power for the original 73102 AFS GPS Module comes from EFIS MAIN connector on pin 6 (OAT Power), assuming that the 73120 SV-GPS-2020 is now cabled to it, where would i get the power for the 73102 AFS GPS Module (second GPS)?

Apparently i didn't read far enough in the installation manual, since i have V7 hardware, my power comes from the EFIS Expansion connector on pin 1 (8V GPS Power). Would I use this to power both the 73102 AFS GPS and 73102 AFS GPS Modules, or is there a better way?

If both screens are R7 ( or V7 ) hardware then Yes, each puck will connect to an EFIS. This allows each screen to always have access to a GPS puck. The easiest install is to use Pins 1, 2, 9, 10 from the EFIS Expansion Cable connecting to Serial #4.

R1 to R6 will need to pull power from EFIS Main Pin 6 (OAT) like you found originally.
