    AFS5600, GTN650 and Trio Propilot

Can anyone give me any help on setting up the autopilot gain settings for a trio pro pilot installed in a RV-6. It is way over controlling both in roll and pitch when coupled to the EFIS. I have changed the gain settings for roll and pitch in the EFIS but that doesn't seem to help. The autopilot by itself is pretty good, but coupled to the EFIS with GPSS and GPSV it is horrible, even scary in pitch.

    Thanks in advance,

    Toby

See page 39 of the AF-5000 Pilot Guide Manual V5.0 this should help you get through the tuning process. Scary in pitch sounds like the ALT gain is too high.
