    AFS Autopilot Interface Panel

I have the 5600 efis and a Vizion 385 autopilot. What can I benefit from the autopilot panel, is it made for other specific devices or autopilots or the 5000 series itself? Not sure what the advantage is?

The AP panel would allow quick access to the autopilots functions. It requires an SV Network capable unit (CHECK -> ABOUT -> SYSTEM BB: 7)
The only feature that wouldn't effect the Trutrak is Auto-Trim which they have a module for anyways.

Do the onscreen and panel interfaces mirror each other with identical operations?

Yes, the EFIS adds 180 and VFPL (Vertical from Flight Plan)
