    Calculated Wind

I upgraded to the latest software (v12) on my 5400s over the weekend. I noticed that the calculated wind area on the EFIS is no longer transparent but rather now appears as a block box (see attached)...is this correct?

It also shows erroneous wind calculations (it use to work fine). I was flying on a dead calm day but it was indicating a 24kt crosswind?

October of last year we increased the font size and alpha background of the winds for readability.

We use the standard E6B calculations to determine wind direction and heading. One of the values would be incorrect:
    _____ True Airspeed
    _____ Ground Speed
    _____ Heading
    _____ Track

Thanks, I'll check these parameters the next time I am flying.
