Erratic reading of cyl and egt temp on one cylinder

I recently started getting an erratic reading on my #4 cylinder on the egt and cyl head temps. The reading bounces up and down about 10 degrees. I recently installed a new vacuum pump. Is it possible I loosened up a wire or is there perhaps a software malfunction? Are both the cht and egt tied into one connection? Any advice would be appreciated.

The CHT and EGT probes are on different channels. You may have loosened the connections between the probes and extension wires. You can also try swapping probes to see if the erratic temp follows the probes or stays with the #4 channels.
