EFIS pins 11,12,23,24 Serial port 0?

I have a new 5600T EFIS, looking at pins 11,12, 23, and 24 of the EFIS main connector DB25....

I see what seems to be conflicting schematics; it's either RS232, RS422, or specifically for the remote AHRS.
Does it matter? Is or can this port be used as a standard rs-232 serial port?

I need this "port 0" to connected to one of these:
    - trigg 22 transponder
    - GPS
    - VPX
    - EIS-4000
    - remote Audio panel (PAC15ex)

The others will go on ports 1 --> 4

(radio and ADAHRS will go on SV-network)

    Thanks,
    Jeff
