    AF5600 clock

I am the new (second owner) of N666DY a factory built Kitfox with a 5600 PFD linked to a GTN750 nav/com.

The manual says the 5600 gets time from the GPS and only the offset needs to be adjusted.

My 5600 appears to be communicating with the GTN (it says it is..) but the clock in the 5600 is wrong and it is not the offset:

For example: cell phone time 14:44 GTN time 14:44 BUT 5600 time 17:07...adjusting the offset of course doesn't affect the minutes...what is going on?

    Thanks
    Keith

You will want to verify that your GPS/NAV data sources are directed to your ARINC input and not directed to your AVTN data. This is accessible in Calibration -> Admin Settings.

Another check is that the screen has a constantly hot backup power source available to the screen this allows the clock to continue to remain accurate. By pressing and holding button 1, the leftmost horizontal button, the screen should boot.
