Thread: RV7A fuel tank calibration

  1. #11
I emailed a screen shot of both left and right AD values as per Shawn's request to info@advanced-flight-systems.com. I calibrated the left tank as per this forum thread above http://www.advanced-flight-systems.c...nk-calibration using 5 calibration points. Not sure if I "zeroed" both ground and flight values first to get this number spread.

Today I did a calibration for the right wing using 11 calibration points and "zeroed" only the ground values first. As you can see (with difficulty) the AD numbers are all the same again.

I guess this problem is not solved after all.

You have a stuck float or the sensor is not making a good ground connection. We have seen in the past where people use too much pro seal and the float gets stuck.

Verify with an Ohm meter that your sensor goes from around 40-240 ohms with fuel level.
