    AF-4500 and trutrack VSVG

Should the Trutrack VSVG follow the heading bug of the AF-4500? I am using the ARINC interface between the EFIS and AP. If it is, it doesn't. Checked pinouts and cannot find an error. Also configured 4500 per instructions.

On the ground with A/P on and O° bank displayed in A/P window I get one servo cog every 2 seconds to the left. Turning the A/P knob to 2° right bank stops the left roll command.

i think you have to have the ap in gpss mode for it to follow the heading bug. you might consider upgrading to the AFS AP. it makes using the EFIS to control the ap much easier. the servo acts differently on the ground then in the air.

    1. Makes sure the EFIS AP/FD LAT mode is set to HDG
    2. Make sure the VSGV is actually in GPSS mode, it should display EXT LS, Not a bank angle. If it will not go into GPSS mode check the Arinc wiring from the AF-ARINC to VSGV wiring.
