Sounds like you may have an older AFS ARINC module. If that is the case, upgrade to the Dynon SV-ARINC. If you already have the Dynon version, I would give Jonathon a call.

Typically, when I see that message, the gps hasn’t synced with enough satellites yet. I’ve had the map show me someplace else until the gps has synced with the appropriate number of satellites.
