Last I recall hearing about the additional weather info was that you were just waiting for the FAA(?) to finalize the format but that it would be implemented as soon as available.

I see that Dynon is adding support for the Airmate aviation data that interfaces with iOS and Android (limited). Will we see that on the AFS soon?
Count my vote.

I was reading about how the Dynon uses an involved calculation vs a table for the % Horse Power and they claim it to be far more accurate. Is the calculated % HP that much more accurate? Is it on...
Rob,
I noticed on page 109 of the new manual the statement...
WARNING!! The following are based on the current fuel flow and the GPS ground speed. If power setting is
changed or the winds...
I saw a symbol on the map of the 5400 which I have not seen before. It was light blue in color and looked like a radio antenna with the broadcasting ((( ))) waves around the top. I could not see...
If I'm not mistaken, the yellow appears around the box when the target signal has been lost for 10 seconds and the traffic display will disappear if the traffic is not seen after an additional (10?)...
As long as we are on the subject of features requests...
Any chance of adding the ability to use an external control of the dimmer function?
Thanks
Rob,
Am I the only one seeing this (user error) or is this a known problem with the 5400? Does version 12 address this issue?
When in the Admin screens (after Avaition DB update) there are no "Back" buttons visible to get back out of the admin mode. Actually, they are there but not visible and you have to click on the...
I use it in both and I'm pretty sure that the problem happens in both AP and EFIS modes. The last time it was in EFIS mode.
It has happened on many occasions but not on every flight. On a recent two hour round trip, it didn't do it on the way down but did once on the way back. It might happen once in every two to three...
2. When in altitude bug mode. The autopilot hold the altitude well. On two occasions over the past couple weeks, the plan starts a climb (once) or a decent (once) from the altitude selected by the...
Rob,
Did you ever get a chance to check this for the 4500.
Also, can you give a status on the winds aloft display for the 4500?
Thanks
Rob,
Any timeline for the winds aloft on the 4500?
Is there any way to avoid this, short of turning on the radios prior to starting the engine?
I have noted that my downloaded data has some mis-information in it recently and I'm try to figure out how it gets there. In the Longitude and Latitude it is inserting the following coordinates...
Another what does it mean question...actually, two questions. 1) the white target will sometimes go from a white outline to a filled in white square. What is it telling me? The second question is,...
Recognizing that the 4500 is just about at the end of its resources, small incremental improvements that don't over tax what's left of those resouces would go a long way to keeping the installed base...
The ability to see and store all of your flight data is a great resource and Mike Busch is an incredible resource for teaching you how to interpert the information, if you sense a problem.
Rob,
Another one for your never-ending feature list...having the flap position indicator change color at different flap positions so that you can see the position more readily?
Nick
I would like to have a listing of the text from each of the audio files. I was going to try to listen to each and translate them but it appears that the .ASW file extension is somewhat unique. Is...
I would like to use the check list function for a custom list of items (listing of fuses). The default check list pages all have 12 lines each. Is there any reason that the number of lines can't or...
Trevor, I guess I asked the question wrong. I have a POS-12 for the EFIS Flap Position...can I use it also for the Sport AOA flap indication or will that not tell the AOA what it needs to know? ...
