ver 10.04.16/system start up

I have installed the subject version and a factory preloaded usb stick. The 5600 startup goes thru three tries to complete the startup. With power supplied to the system the first try sequence is; logo. quick blink, second logo and then times out. After +/- 1 minute a second startup commences with the same results. The third startup goes beyond the second logo to a white screen and a normal startup. This sequence is repeatable over several
startups over several flights. System data: 5600 s/n 71225, ver 10.04.16 mv16 dec18 2014.

contacted Shawn, they are on the problem and working for a fix. In the mean time I am using a short USB extender cord to have easy access to the USB port
and leave the stick out until after start up, then plug it in. Results with all maps available.
