My gut is saying that your ethernet jack might have a cracked pin. Try applying some finger pressure to the connector on one EFIS then the other and see

Correct you wont have anything in those spots.

If you don't have trim position indicators you don't need the pins.

Regarding re-pinning the main engine harness...

what do I do about the SV-EMS-220 pins marked "SkyView Only"?
