Hi Rob
I have a 4500 EFIS and a 3400 EM and just installed a New Navworx ADS600-BG.
The display connections are attached to the 3400 EM serial port 3.
The altitude encoder is attached to the 3400 EM serial port 2.
Both the 4500 and 3400 are synthetic displays.
The UAT Console software from Navworx replied READY FOR FLIGHT after programing. Could not test fly because of weather.

Are the following port settings correct for the display of traffic and weather with the following equipment?
Garmin 426, Garmin Sl-30 and SL-40, Garmin 327, AF auto pilot, AFS ARINC 429.

The 4500 serial ports are configured as follows.
Serial port #1 function is (AFS GPS)
Serial port #2 function is (TRFC/ICARUS)
Serial port #3 function is SL-30
Serial port #4 function is ARINC

The 3400 serial ports are configured as follows.
Serial port #1 function is (DISABLED)
Serial port #2 function is (TRFC/ICARUS)
Serial port #3 function is (DISABLED)
Serial port #4 function is (DISABLED)

Don,

I'm in the process of setting mine up as well, although I'm still having difficulties get the UAT Console to work. (I have a pre s/n#850 unit and have pre-UAT Console code release).

The omission that I see is that 3400/sp3 is disabled. It should be set to ADS-B.

From the 4.7 manual:

EFIS Main Harness ADS600(-B) P1 EFIS Configuration
13 Serial #2 TX 7 ICARUS/TRFC
5 Serial #3 RX 5 ADS-B
4 Serial #3 TX 24 ADS-B
21 Serial #3 GND 23 ADS-B

This weather truly sucks. I only have 14 hours left on my Phase I and I can't get enough good weather on the weekends to get it finished.
