I have a 4500 and 3500 and a Navworx ADS600B. I connected the navworx display to the 3500 serial #3. I connected the Navworx encoder (in) to the 3500 serial #2. Can I pass data from the 4500 serial #2 (which is connected to the GTX 327 alt. enc. in) to the 3500 serial #2? Same for serial #3 (Navworx display port) on the 3500 to the 4500. OR must I connect the Navworx display port to the serial #3 on the 4500 and share the encoder out 4500 serial #2 with the GTX 327 and the Navworx box?
When configuring the Navworx box the UAT console display selection is either None or GPSMap. There is no selection for MAP TA RS232 or PROTOCOL TA. I assume GPSMap.

Does your 3500 have the S cpu and Synthetic vision? Only the "S" cpu AF-3500 will work with ADS-B.
The Navworx needs ICARUS altitude data, if you select TRFC/ICARUS on the AF-3500s serial port #2 it should work. The AF-3500s will send ADS-B data to the AF-4500

Both 3400Em and 4500EF are "S" CPUs. The 4500EF serial #2 (alt out to GTX327) will be mirrored on the 3400EM ser #2? I have the 4500EF and 3400EM serial #2 configured as TFC/ICARUS.
When connecting the ADS600 to the 4500EF serial #2 the ADS600 correctly reports alt. data. When the ADS600 is connected to the 3400EM serial #2 no alt. data. The 4500EF and 3400EM display altitude on screen correctly.
Both screens correctly display traffic from the ADS600 from the 3400EM serial #3.
The ADS600 receives the transponder code correctly.
I also tried connecting the ADS600 encoder in to serial #4 on the 3400EM and configuring to TFC/ICARUS without success.
Any suggestions?
Thanks...

Connect serial port number 2 TXD from your AF-4500EF to both the GTX327 and ADS600.

Rob,
For those of us not fortunate enough to get to Sun-n-Fun this year can you give us a post later about the transponder information ? Thanks !!
