4500 update to 5600

Rob,
I have a 4500 EFIS on the left side of my panel and a 3400 engine monitor on the right side in my rv7a. I would like to update the 4500 to a 5600 or 5800. Other than opening my panel cutout, would all my current electrical connections of the 4500 fit the new 5600 or the 5800 systems.
What recommendations would you have for updating the 3400 by using my 4500. I saw on the forum that there is an update in the future for the 4500 units.

The only wiring change that is required is to replace the DB-9 AUX connector on the 4500 to a DB15 on the AF-5000 System.
