I have a VDO 360-001 0-80 PSI, 5 bar, 10-180 ohms oil pressure sender for my Jabiru 3300, which has started showing at least double the oil pressure it previously reported correctly during the first 160+ hrs. (I've tried a brand new sender, same results.) Current config settings are Part 41,115 VDO, AD 4095, no offset. Is that correct? If not, what should the config values be for Part, AD value, offset if any, etc.?

Since it was working OK, I upgraded system software to 8.07.06 -- among other mechanical changes. It was upon first running after that upgrade (and the other changes) that the above high reading problem appeared. So far, we've not been able to diagnose a mechanical cause. Perhaps something relevant changed in that software ver.?

In the calibration options, Part VDO 41,115 is one of two possible settings, the other being 41,105 SW. FWIW, on p. 83 of the current manual, it describes Part 41,115 VDO as 0-150 PSI (10 bar).

You had a custom oil pressure calibration setup, if you changed the sensor part number it would have replaced the cal data. Did you do a backup before installing the new software? You can restore your ENGINE.AFC from the backup.

I just emailed you the engine.afc from your screen.

Thanks, Rob. I've successfully restored the file you emailed, confirmed in the oil pressure config. Will report results when I've had a chance to run the engine.

(BTW, I misstated the ver. upgrade I had done. It was an upgrade to 8.7.10. May not matter, but just in case...)

The mag align does not use the compass rose, you only spin the plane.
