Afs GPS cord length?

I'm adding the afs GPS antenna as a backup to my two 4500's,

GPS from 430w is my primary.

1. Does it matter which 4500 I connect it too as long as settings list that port as "afs GPS"?

2. Is the unit sensitive to antenna cord length ( like the 430w) or can I shorten it to get rid of excess cord length?

Connect the GPS to either screen and set to AFS GPS on a Serial Port. Then the other screen can then be setup to receive Remote GPS on a GPS/NAV Data Source.

Secondly, the AFS GPS wires are all digital. Feel free to shorten the length to suit your installation.
