Any chance the EFIS will eventually be able to control a remote Trig transponder?

Trig will not release the interface , we will have a better solution at Oshkosh.

Any idea how much more the mode S will be? Will it include ADS-B out?

Is the remote transponder unit you sell based on the TT21 or TT22 higher power version?
Is the wiring harness from remote transponder to EFIS included in the price?
Regards Morris.

I'm interested to see what your plans are in terms of a Mode S/ADS-B transponder. I find all these proprietary interfaces in aviation really baffling. Why wouldn't you want your product to be open and compatible? It's like the entire industry is stuck a 90s software mentality.

It is not our product that is not open and compatible, it is Garmin that has moved to close the interfaces.

We currently sell the Dynon/Trig transponder, it is a Mode S with ADS-B out. The connectors are included with the Transponder, you will need to make the harness or wire it to the pre made EFIS harness. The Transponder is based on the higher power Trig TT22.
