Can we get the dimensions for the area behind the panel required for the standard mount?
Looks like a standard hole with standard screw spacing. Height and width should be standard also.

Just need to know how far 'forward' it goes....

Thanks!

Hi recapen,

I used a combination of this (http://www.aircraftspruce.com/search/search.php?query=12-14600&searchsubmit=Search&search=1) and this (http://www.aircraftspruce.com/search/search.php?query=12-00975&searchsubmit=Search&search=1) to help with my layouts and hole spacing/drilling with good results.

Dimensions for the 2-1/4" round face AF-Pilot:
Face of the unit to the back of the aluminum enclosure: 5-3/8" (Note 1)
Face of the unit to the back of the plastic pitot/static block: 6-1/8" (Note 2)

Notes:
1 - Allow for an additional 2-1/2" for a standard DB-25 connector w/ shell and associated wires from the rear of the aluminum enclosure. This could possibly be as tight as 2-1/4" but could pose challendges w/ wire chafing and insertion/removal/securing of the DB-25 connector itself.
2 - Allow room for appropriate pitot/static connectors into the plastic block. Note that 1/8" NPT is used and should be hand-tightened followed by 1/2 additional turn to avoid cracking the block.

Good luck,
/\/elson
